I'm glad you liked the Ato/Tez as I took advantage of your Atobe/Anyone prompt.

Atobe is so larger than life and amazing he needs some flaws. It's sort of fun to make him miss some of the finer details in the big picture.

Don't worry about it, Atobe/Tezuka was my first Atobe ship... then Tango happened. Atobe/Anyone(and everyone) is always.

Tez may act frustrated at times but he actually gets a lot of pleasure out of seeing Atobe squirm and being a little clueless.

I like your Atobe :-) He's a little slow when it comes to things Tezuka wants (like being asked), but he's got good reasoning and good background...and really fun interactions with his team. I do like that :-)

Atobe is so amazingly perfect that he needs little flaws. Forgetting that normal people actually like being asked things instead of just commanded is easy enough to forget in Atobe's life.

And glad you enjoyed it. I had a lot of fun writing it. Especially the team parts. I ended up adding in more than I originally had.

The first day of Atobe's absense, went better than Shishido had anticipated. He had arrived at the tennis club house expecting to have to wake up his new 'captain' and was therefore surprised to see him nowhere in the club house. After changing and sharing a funny story with Ohtori involving Sakaki and a girl in his class who totally loves him, they headed out to the courts to see if anything was happening yet and if Jirou was somewhere napping ( ... )
