I got word back today from the A/AH department head, finally. I got the NYC internship for next Spring.

One more semester of Rochester, and then I'm gone.

But screw him, we'll stay away from the subways. Plus, I have toxic laughing gas and you have razor sharp playing cards; I dare him to get anywhere near us.

I'll probably end up spending all my time & money buying bootleg sunglasses from crackheads, but basically I'm going to be working in an art/culture internship that ties in with my major (the program will let me know which ones will work, and then I'll apply for the ones that suit my fancy), and taking two art-related classes at (I think) NYU.

I will be certain to send you bootleg sunglasses I buy from a crackhead. Or maybe a bootleg Gucci purse of some sort.

I miss you! I'm still really sorry about crapping out on you during Easter/ your birthday weekend (I still owe you a terrible birthday present... to the Dollar Store for an assortment of random crap!)

I want to make a trip out to Cleveland and see you again in the summer. I'll be 21 then, so we'll actually be able to do stuff, and it won't be all cold and crappy. Cedar Point maybe?

Oh, and the fam is wondering what your address is (sounds like it's high time for a care pack). I've forgotten it, so could you e-mail it to me?

PS, come visit me in NYC in the spring!
