Carla and I are safe in costa rica we went way over budget on saturday by staying at a lodge and using two taxis. busses are much cheaper. last night we stayed with a lovely woman named Mireja who charged us only $12 to sleep in her house and take two meals. breakfast was especially good. we hiked and swam yesterday at Tapanti National Park. today

one time i stayed with a woman for less...and boy adventure was only tipping the iceberg, and i don't mean for a job well done!
