I love in character genderbends and this is perfect. I could definitely see Mark never saying anything so I'm glad she did.

Oh, thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Haha, as for Mark not saying anything...the only reason she did was because her mother made her. Karen is totally the best. (and also totally like my mom, I am so shameless.)

OP here! Oh myyy gooossshh, this is just absolutely beautiful. To me this is above anything else an ensemble story, where everyone gets over their differences and bullshit to just do. the. right. thing (and some being more bamf than others). Marylin, girl!Chris+Dustin, KAREN (clearly one of the world many greatest moms). Such a perfect mix of emotions, so sad but also hopeful!

Thank you! I'm so glad you appreciated it, OP! I'm glad the ensemble thing worked for you, I had so much fun switching perspectives. I tried to make it so no one section had the same POV as the one before it, so that everyone had a chance to have their say. Of course, it didn't work out so perfectly, but still, I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

Haha, Karen is so great. She is the best mom ever.
