small nit: The zoom to emulate a walking steadycam does not really work. Consider putting the camera on a tripod, tilt it full back, and hang the tripod under your shoulder with a Bungee. That way your shoulder takes the weight, the bungee absorbs most of the foot bounce, and the weight is balanced with camcorder front and tripod legs back. You should be able to get a good travelcam effect that way.
Otherwise, this rocks! :) And doing it right in front of a police car? Not sure how you pulled off THAT timing, but it was a nice touch. I love how you used the fiesta hotel for the shoot -- why wasn't I invited? :)
