As in anti emotional music based on hardcore? Or shitty popular music? There's a difference there.
Emokid? As in the people who whine and bitch about boyfriends/girlfriends they've never had to fit in? I agree. But if you mean kids who dress like scene kids, "emo" glasses with unisex hair and weird make up, then i am forced to disagree. As i have "emo" glasses because i've wanted them since i was three, and i've always liked 70s shags, and weird make up makes me giggle.
You're interesting, i like you. -poke of friendship-
Put it this way, the kids that I don't like are the ones who're gonna do things because it's what they think it's exactly what the should be doing- who play a part, and play it just because they don't have balls enough to be themselves.
And, really, that goes for every scene, but the emo ones really get to me. A lot of what the emo scene is based off of, is just plain whining. And that's, you know, never been huge in my book.
As for music, the trendy well known stuff, usually, is what I dislike. [and, yeah, yeah, MCR are still one of my favorite bands...]. As for the other emotional hardcore etc etc stuff- it's good, just not my thing. Emotional music never did a whole lot for me.

But when I say anti-emo, I mean like cult cliche emo. Like, more anti-emo kid. I don't like all the whining and bitching.
I'm anti-emo lifestyle. Anti-generic-emo-ness.
MCR aren't a generic emo band. And even if they were, I'd still like them.

This is nothing like my stories, fyi. It's just spare thoughts turned into spare statements. I fear I'm a bit generic.
Anyway, thank you : )
