Well, it's been a bit since I've had time to actually sit down and care about writing in this, so if any of you care to read about my life lately...
Last month had a couple fun events. Brian turned 23, which we ended up not doing anything for. Savitha's Maya show was last month, which was by far the best dance show I've ever been to. Not only was Savitha great, but we had a fun night after, and I met someone who out of nowhere is becoming a pretty good friend, even though I've only met her in person twice ;). Friday Halloween was fun, but Saturday we just ended up at a pizza place, and I ended up at a girl's house.
No, you sick minded fools, I didnt stay the night. I know you were thinking that, because if you're reading this, you're a friend of mine and more than likely think like I do.
Before this week in this month everything had been very routine. Any spare time I had I spent on north campus with my two titanium samples for my reseach class. Mondays and Wednesdays I would sleep through Biomaterials, then go to research, then more than likely not go to Thermo, then more research, then Mechanics, then work. Pretty much the beginning of this month shifted me from decently working on school to senioritis galore. I had absolutely no drive to do crap.
Things started picking up at the end of last week though. I went to the IASA show, which was fun and cool to see some people I dont see all the time. Afterwards there were parties galore, but unfortunately I couldnt stay. The furry puppies were waiting for me at my parent's house, and I couldnt stay out all night seeing as I was watching them for the weekend. I also saw Dana and Brian this week, which was cool because not only do I not see Brian much, but I hadent seen Dana in months, so we had time to catch up. I also saw Julie on Friday and got to catch up with her. All in all it was a good couple days.
However, I spent most of Sunday with ANOTHER person I hadent seen in ages, SHAWN! The little man invited me to go to service with him Sunday morning, which I have to admit I was a little hesitant for. For those of you who dont know, I was not brought up very religous and never went or liked Catholic church. However, I wanted to hang out with Shawn, and thought, what the heck. It turns out I'm very glad I went. Not only was it a great and fun experience, but I met and hung out with a bunch of new great people. I also ended up being a pimp dad who sold his daughter to a drug dealer because she could turn flour into cocaine.
What a great weekend!!
So now I sit on my comp, listening to the Pet Shop Boys and talking to Sarah online. I actually feel like I got something accomplished by doing my homework tonight, which is a rare and nice feeling. Hopefully I can keep this up! Also, I had a ghost sighting today. I saw this ghost through the rain on the corner of Huron and State, carrying an umbrella. Now, I didnt know ghosts needed umbrellas, but apparently this one dint want to get wet. Funny thing is, I've told myself when I saw her I would stop and say hi. Funny thing is, when I thought I did, I didnt stop to make sure. I just kept on walking looking over my shoulder. Totally different reaction form what I thought would happen when I saw her next.
Anyway, for the upcoming future, im hoping to maybe go skiing soon! (Sorry Sarah, it will happen soon, and better to just get it over with) Maybe even hang out with my inet friend. I dont know. All I know now is that Im tired, and want to sleep. So Im going to sleep. So night all :)
