I'd expect nothing less from an electric car. Although I'd imagine that if they used DC motors they'd lose less power through the inverter, but at the same time, AC is more powerful in the end.

If I had that car.......I'd drive it at night as little as possible so I wouldn't waste precious miles on the stupid headlights.

those look like LED headlights anyways so little energy consumed

yea id expect such power from an electric car as well, but there are always just those skeptics
run it on some plutoniom power source and it can go so fast and go back in time! (of course instal some flux capacators >:D)

liz and i were wondering how electric cars worked tho. To us n00bz it seems that these cars are completely unimaginable (we still believe they work... but just don't understand the theory behind it?) Crazy japan. :x

haha ever seen one of those mini4wd toy cars? they put motors the size of your thumb, and damn they are really fuckin fast.

make them bigger, and put one motor in each wheel, thats some serious power... i think... hmmm
