PROM RESTAURANT SEARCH
so this past weekend was quite awesome >:D
friday... friday.. i dont remember exactly what happened, but i spent lots of time with elly
saturday me and elly went to DC to check out restaurants for prom (after long long online search of all west DC resteraunts online)
i looked for atmosphere/decor as priority over the food
screw nice elegance its always been that, so i was aiming for the modern, the hip, and the trendy
with preferably electronica/house/progressive music as background (most of those turned out more chic and focused on lounges rather than the restaurant so they got eliminated)
price range: $40~$50ish a person, but thats with no expensive DC drinks so it should be very doable
currently its down to a battle between zaytinya and indebleu. these pics are daytime shots so im pretty sure theyd look quite different at night. the website photos are quite sexy as well.

beautiful modern fresh design, award winning chef with wide selection of mezzes and other meditteranean dishes

indebleu more slick and moodier decor, nice lounge although not sure if under 21 would be allowed in there, and upstairs dining room switches over to the more elgant side
food is contemporary mix between french and indian, should expect around $50 a person (its prom, bwaha im ready to blow even more bwahaha.. and be totally broke afterwards x.x)

we were also going to check out the West 24, but it turns out the restaurant had changed to agua ardiente a more latin cuisine. it turns into a international/latino nightclub 10pm+ and they didnt let anyone in under 21 (they had eastern european bouncers with accents just like in movies...), but we got one of them to take digicam inside to take pics
inside shots, it was mostly bar/clubbingness i guess:
my family and elly's went to eat dim sum in the morning.. uhh.. she helped me cut the lawn..
oh and we saw the local icecream truck that i havent seen since elementary school, so we were like oh shit and we followed the truck for like 15 min until i guess it gave up and pulled to the side for us to buy some icecream, YEAA >:D
he lives in DC! >:D
