I finally got my grade back for the major tax research case that's 60% of my grade for my Tax Research class. 99%! So at least I can confirm one A, even if the class is only worth 1.5 credits. I'll take my victories where I can get them. Now, back to studying for my internal audit final that's tonight. :P

Animal Crossing: City Folk is out! I spent several hours yesterday playing, it's just as much fun as the previous two. I encourage all my friends to get it. They've added a lot of new things and haven't gotten rid of any of the old stuff.

Ah, it's good to have a new game to play again.

Obama has handily won the race for president. I'm so happy that we'll finally see a change from the Republican regime that has been ruining our country. I'm hopeful that Obama can bring real change and put us on the right track again. I talked with someone at the career placement office and was ultimately relieved, but still puzzled. Apparently the CPO keeps records of how the on campus interviews went and mine were great. I didn't get the DFAS job. It was my best chance and I lost it. I have some small hope that I'll still hear back from BKD. I sent them a follow-up e-mail not long ago and I should be getting an e-mail back even if they're not interested. I'm a little nervous, but I did really well on the first interview, so I'm sure I'll nail the second. I just need to keep my wits about me and be prepared to answer some tough questions. I now have a second interview with DFAS. Unfortunately it's this Friday so that gives me even less time to study for my tax mid-term which is sometime this Saturday. But I can't complain. Now I just need to nail this second interview and maybe, just maybe I'll actually have a job right after graduation.
