Well that was annoying. I was investigating a new bath tap fitting my dad had bought from B&Q. Now i don't know what they have across the pond but sometimes you get these all-in-one tap/shower fittings. In order to activate the shower outlet you need to pull out a (or push in depending on the make and model) handle or knob and the shower activates

They should have drained it better.
