Film geeks ahoy

I got me one of those free month of film rentals. So can people please shout films that I might like to me?

I'm not an action or romance movie type of person so please nothing that involves big guns, cars and buxom women.

I like films where nothing really happens but in an arty farty kind of way.

Maybe try 'Le Dernier Metro' and 'Les 400 Coups' by Francois Truffaut...I studied them for A-level French, and still enjoy them :) Wonderful films, great characters and storylines, plus the fact that they're French films increases the 'arty farty' factor :) I think you can subtitled versions if you're not confident with your French, although I reckon a quick read of the synopsis would be enough for you to follow what's going on. Let me know what you think if you do see them!
