 All things happen for a reason.  In any situation, whether caused by God or man, there is but one recourse, to do all in God's name.  All things happen for a reason, to give us an opportunity to give glory to God.

 I've noticed that people with engineering degrees seem to perform well in a number of professions unrelated to engineering and in general are pretty employable.  I've wondered for a while why this is.  Does it have something to do with what people learn in engineering school or is it the type of people who enter engineering school?

 Yesterday at 10:25 pm things made sense.  I knew that I'd be flying to Cornell today and based on that visit I'd decide to go to either Michigan or Cornell for grad school.  At 10:26 I was accepted to UC-Santa Barbara.  They encouraged me to come visit but the problem is I need to send out my decision before April 15th, that leaves one weekend I  ( Read more... )

Today I dropped by the grand opening of the new art museum on my way back from an M-HEAL meeting.  The museum is pretty nice, but the place was packed.  After wandering around for around 10 minutes I just gave up because it was just too crowded to meander around to look at things.  I'm really looking forward to coming back in a couple weeks when it ( Read more... )
