So the plan for the Baltimore move is still a go.  I've "applied" to rent a decent apartment in an amazing part of Baltimore.  The same apt in Dupont would easily go for 2k a month, but I'm getting it for $825 plus a $23 dog fee.  Not sure who came up with the $23 amount!

The counseling session on Friday went fine.  But Tom was firm in his feeling

Baltimore is a really good place to live, and that area is particularly nice.

Also, two words: The Helmand. It's an afghan restaurant owned by Hamid Karzai's family over on Charles just north of the Monument. Fantastic food, great service, and not pricey at all.

And let's not forget The Brewer's Art, about three blocks north of The Helmand. Last year it was voted "Best Gay Bar That's Not A Gay Bar" by the City Paper.
