"Hi, this is Jono Starsmore's phone. Please leave a message and he'll get back to you. Thanks!"

"JONO! Jono, it's me! It's Rinoa! Jono, please pick up the phone!" An impatient huff. "Jono, seriously, we were stuck and I don't know what happened but I finally got you! That's why you need to PICK UP THE PHONE! ... Dammit, I don't know how long you -- look, we went home just for like a weekend? And everything was shut and now I'm in Dollet? At the library? The portals might be open now, so I'm gonna see if we can figure out what's going on? How is everyone??? I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU AREN'T THERE. This is so not fair!"
There was a grumbly noise, then: "Okay, listen, we're gonna investigate and maybe we can figure out what's going on? You still have our numbers, right? Because Squall --"

You just used up all my voicemail space.
That was kind of like 'hello, I missed you, good to see you're not dead,' in Jonothonese.

Home. Came back for a weekend, and all the portals just shut down. Every time I call it won't connect. I don't know what changed, now.

Actually, he'd take that hug and he'd like it. Jono had a distinct deficit of hugs going at any given point in time. It was practically a sin.

Things just hadn't been the same since they'd left.

... Wait. That would have been a much better offer if he wasn't still sleeping on a mattress on the floor, himself.
Still in the process of moving, haven't had a chance to gather up people to help me haul furniture. Theoretically I have a spare bed and a sofa that pulls out if you need a place to crash while you settle, they're just still at the Boards.
