[She had never heard JENOVA's voice before, but if she had to think of any way to describe it, what she had heard would be it. Just hearing it brought a tightness to her chest. She... she couldn't do this to him. They couldn't deal with him the way he was back home.]

Sephiroth? Sephiroth! Wake up!

[The pup heard the familiar voice coming from the talking box on the floor and scratched at it, yipping a bit fearfully. His master was making odd sounds and that smelly stuff was everywhere.]

Sephiroth!

[When Soldier came on screen, Tifa tried to look a bit relieved, but it wasn't working.]

Soldier, you okay boy? Can you wake him up?

[The puppy answered by licking the screen, leaving a trail of slobber along with his former chew marks. He whined, cocking his head and pricking his ears, nosing at the device and giving the video a crazy tilt, but it seems the room is filled with the glare of MAKO, with ShinRa's General comatose across his bed.]

So uncertain if this is correct, but... [Correct me if you feel like you I did it wrong xd] unluckystray March 21 2011, 18:29:09 UTC
Train found himself watching this and suddenly he started to feel the same things he did. First there was immense fear and then pain. He then started to think of his pet cat days while he was emotionless and found nothing wrong with murdering others. Never questioned it until that one person made a difference in his life. He started to realize that this wasn't him. He needed to snap out of it. Once he did, he glanced at Hades. He still felt some anger, throwing the pistol to the ground.

"What the hell was that...?" he muttered, more so to himself. "I thought I was done with that life..." he spoke to himself in such scorn, thinking of the days while he was nothing but a murderer.

It'll work. I'm amazingly flexible with stuff. :D furorimperator March 22 2011, 01:24:17 UTC
The green mist thickened, coalescing around the boy as if attuned to his reception. The aura driving it sunk deep, seeking to bring to light that which had been buried far below the skin.

Jenova was nothing if not opportunistic. Should her son not prove worthy of her love, then she might have to seek another vessel for her power. And here, on this world, there were many from which to choose.

[Action, sorry for being so stupidly late to the party] kagayakino March 21 2011, 18:39:18 UTC
[Whoa, what the hell was that? Takuto scrambles out of his futon and heads for his boss' room, where he starts pounding on the door.]

Hey, what's going on in there? You okay?

[Action] No problem. Sun and Mon are my "off days", so to speak. :D furorimperator March 22 2011, 01:19:18 UTC
[The only answer is Soldier's frantic yapping from behind the door. Oddly, the green glow doesn't seem to affect the dog very much. A disguised blessing. But he scratches and whines on the door, knowing that something's wrong but can't do much about it!]

Yeah ... I'm actually rarely around on the weekends, which is when everyone else is LOL kagayakino March 22 2011, 06:37:06 UTC
[He presses his ear to the door.]

Soldier? That you boy? You okay?

[He looks up and down the hallway, and then his face tinges with determination.]

Stand back boy, I'm gonna break down the door!

[The dog suddenly whines, then yelps and scuttles back from the door. Angry green eyes, serpentine and cold, coalesce in the mist, hissing a warning to the boy in the hallway. Her voice is icy, sibilant and tinged with evil.]

Begone!

(The situation in this dream is quite familiar to him. A violent destructive power rampaging through its host. A tranquil life-form looming above, giving the lie of parental concern. Though, it would seem like the long-haired man's bane is subtly crueler than his own unreachable 'parent'.)

(He opens, introspective--though, that is sure to change, given his own nature and the overwhelming effects of the dream that are near-instantaneously fester in him just below the surface of his neutrality. Not the good dream for getting rid of his evil nature, not in the slightest.)

I have heard that mothers should love their sons. Then--why does yours seek to control you?

(Again, he is not the best with introductions, especially when he sees no reason to be polite.)

[The intruding voice is not hers, yet penetrates through the barrier just the same. But he cannot shake the dream; his matron holds him fast. In desperation, Sephiroth sends out his conscious thought, praying it be heard.]

This is no mother of mine! Naught but an abomination!

(Wrath recognizes the thought being sent out from the long-haired man--non-human, he suspects--it is cried out of desperation. The anger of the dream effects and the infant humanity in his soul, however, prevent that recognition from being turned into a germ of sympathy.)

Interesting. She has simply claimed you as her son? For what reason?

[Sephiroth doesn't know, nor does he care. But he suspects. And his very soul cringes away from the horror inherent in the presence infecting his mind.]

[Although it is Sephiroth's countenance that wafts into view over the device, and Sephiroth's voice which answers, it is definitely not Sephiroth responding. However, he and the entity within are so entwined, the difference is almost indiscernible.]

Perfectly fine.

[The words are just a little too smooth, a little too sibilant.]

Yes. The dream is of little consequence.
