Oh MAN, I know. My favorite of the worst so far?

"2n8ite"

It took me roughly ten minutes to figure that one out the first time. Maybe I would have figured it out a BIT faster if it had just been "2n8", but probably not.

"Tonight".

Or. "Twoneightite", I guess.

I also believe that the way words are written, and READ, really affects the "feelings" that are attached to them. Maybe whole personalities. I mean, it would make a lot of sense, and explain a thing or two. Or maybe that's just my own crazy mind, heh.

Anyhoo. Also, continued sending of good vibes! ~~~

"Bling-Bling"..I say no more.

Sometimes I misspell things, but it is typically either a nasty case of the typos/fail keyboard, or intentional.

Yeah, she's got a whole host of "Chey-isms", results of my typos, and the like.

I try not to butcher the English language any more than Americans already have (mind you I AM an American, so I'm not bashing others lol!)

In my experience, the numbers take longer to type, so is it really saving effort at all? For a 10-character message vs. a 14-?

Granted, part of why elitesorry, l33t-speak became popular was the desire to NOT be understood; i.e. pass filters, etc., but that graduated to "I know something you don't" or something to that effect [read: a lazy man's foreign language, because foreign languages are cool but take too much effort to learn].
