I find it the ultimate irony that even though I dislike pretty much all vegetables, onions remain one of the few I will actually quite happily eat, yet also possibly the only one I'm allergic to. Hence I have spent the last 2 days suffereing for a stupendous bangers and mash with onion gravy. But it was worth it. Mmmmmm... sausages....
