New To the Group

Aug 14, 2012 14:00

Heya, all. N00b rider in Northwest Arkansas. I've only been riding since March; just got my class-M endorsement on my license today, and brunbera reminded me that this group existed, so here I am. ;)

My ride: ( Cut for big pics )

Here's their website: http://www.cfmoto-us.com/onroad/

Maybe you could email them and they'll sell you some key blanks direct?

I love mine; I wish the brand was more popular over here. It's a great starter bike; my only complaint is that it's too light and not powerful enough for interstate highway travel - max speed's about 70MPH, if I'm going downhill with a tailwind. :P

That's cool! I just picked up a Honda CBR250R. Very fun bike!

Have fun on yours!

Oh, I am. I've put over 3000KM (odometer's metric, but the speedo's in MPH. Weird.) on it since I bought it in March.

Since nobody else has yet, welcome to the community!

Can't say I've ever heard of that maker of scooter or motorcycle, but mebbe someone else around these parts has.

Again, welcome to the group and ride safely out there. :)

Very nice.

I never used to care for scooters, but a friend of mine - the one that sold me my bike, in fact - once owned a Honda Silverwing. As scooters go, it's about the biggest I'd ever seen, and he loved it - says it was "like driving a recliner" that could easily break 100MPH. Apparently, the previous owner had taken it on several long road trips - from Arkansas to Alaska.

When I'm ready to upgrade, I may just look into getting one myself.

My friend said he had his Silverwing up to about 115MPH before he stopped looking - and he was still accelerating.

Pretty impressive for such teeny little tires.
