Biking around

When it's on the gas tank you can see the bike and sky, nothing else. Keep it on the windshield.

I've been interested in a camera for use as a black box, but my trips are 3+ hours long and it becomes a question of battery life and memory.

My commute is anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. The DriftHD and ContourHD line of cameras I've found take 32Gig cards and have pretty good batteries with the possibility of using an external power pack. They're more sleek than the GoPro, and the DriftHD has a pretty useful LCD on the side.

Figure on charging your camera at work. Find any USB charger, plug in. Takes about 2 hours to charge.

Do you happen to know roughly how many minutes of video can you get on a 32GB card?

My Contour shoots 8 minutes of 1080p30 per Gig, 7 minutes per Gig for 720p60 and 15 minutes per Gig for 720p30. It also does fast WVGA, 848x480 60fps, 30 minutes per Gig.

The DriftHD is on par.

I wasnt expecting it. but If you guys want.
Ill try to head into hatchers pass later on on tuesday and I could show you how it goes.

When im taking off I try to keep revs over 1k. but sometimes it dips to 500. Ive found the stall point to be at about 450.

hahaha yeah, I barely do that anymore.
But I always seem to keep the revs -really- low.
