The warmest days in Chicago in the next week are up into the 50's. I'm waiting for enough rain to wash all the salt away!
I personally don't like the integrated tail lights; they make signals harder to see, and take away 1/2 your brake light when the signal is on, both reducing visibility. Using an integrated tail light with http://www.hyperlites.com/ would be plenty visible! I run the stock tail light and GSXR signals on my SV with the Hyperlite flashers. It's amazing how much further back people stop and how much extra room soccer moms give you!
Yeah, I've seen those before... it looks like a neat idea although I've always wondered about the DOT's stance on bright flashing red lights (headlight modulators too).
I've seen a couple that only flash 2-3 times when they're first actuated... maybe a good compromise.
I personally don't like the integrated turn signal modules that are available, even though they clean up the bike. I've ridden behind someone who had them, and it was sometimes difficult to know when they were braking, especially when in the twisty, hilly roads. This was especially bad since I could lose them for a second around a hill or a bend, and the next second when I could see them again I wasn't sure if they were braking or not. If they were, sometime I was almost panic braking since it took that extra second to realize they were braking, and sometime hard

The Hyperlites can do both by cutting a wire on the controller. :)
