You could get decals made; there are lots of vendors on Etsy that do custom decals. Some are repositionable, so they'd be easy to remove when you need to.

Any biker has a bug kill count beyond measure. It's impossible to avoid them.

I've not hit anything bigger yet, but a friend of mine would have at least one bird, a bunny and a bat(!) to account for.

The rice fields around here make this a bug paradise. I come back from rides plastered with little green ones.

The cicadas and grasshoppers we have around here are the main reason I will not ride without a closed-face helmet.

We don't have cicadas, but we get big ol' dragonflies. They make quite the sound when they hit. I imagine cicadas are similar.
