The Mr Andy and Auntie Sue Appeal - Thank You Everybun
I think everybun who's followed their lives feels sorry for all that Mr Andy and Auntie Sue have been going through this year - Auntie Sue's +4 month hop-sit-al incarceration in the summer and now being re-admitted for Chris-Moose. It feels very distant to just keep passing on our bestist wishes and strongest healing bunny-vibes - we wanted to do something positive and constructive to try to help them and I think everybun feels the same way.
Ever since we've 'known' them, they've had 'puter problems so we thought it would be good if we could do something to help them buy a new one - so that Mr Andy could use it for recording some of his bunderful artwerks and Auntie Sue could use it to keep in touch with her friends while recuperating at home. But, 'puters are eggs-pensive - something I know having bought two of them myself. So we felt this was too ambitious and instead, in consultation with Pry Minister, Millie-Bun and Sir Cedric Rex, we settled on the idea of writing a song for them to be accompanied by a video in the hope that we might raise enough gold coins to treat Mr Andy to some art materials.
Well, everybunny, you all pulled together admirably and between us we raised, a total of a whopping £209 (£226 before PayPal fees) or $322 depending on which side of the Big Pond you are on. WOW! This is BUNTASTIC and far more than we could ever have hoped for and would pay for both a new PC for them and some art materials for Mr Andy.
Mummy has just phoned Mr Andy to tell him the good news - to say he was surprised and taken aback is an under-statement but, once he's digested the news, then I'm sure he and Auntie Sue will begin to look forward to spending it and that it will have brought some joy into their lives in time for Chris-Moose.
Thank You everybunny, for your very kind and generous contributions. We have been very touched by just how much care and support there is for them in Lagomorphia. Although we may mock our 2-foots every now and then (just as they deserve), we do love them really (sometimes) and just look how they've rallied around to help us...
