A tattoo above the wrist should be fine, as long as you take care of it properly. You might consider though that your tattoo will be exposed and may hinder your attempt at getting work. Many companies still discourage visible tattoos on employees.

Like indigo, woad is a rich blue. I would bring in a color sample if you can. Your artist can mix inks to best match your color (if they want to, that is).

I don't really have any opinions on white ink tattoos, any more than I would have on black ink tattoos. Really, it's what you like and what you decide, because it's going on your body.

Also, if you want to find a good tattoo artist, your best bet is to go into their shop, talk to them about what you want to do, and look at their portfolio. Look online and see business ratings. You can go to google and type in your zipcode. When your town pops up, click on search nearby, and use the keyword tattoo. Google gives you their websites, and reviews and all that.

Good luck!

Understand when getting a white ink tattoo that white ink has a tendecy to appear raised and look a little scar like a for a short while after...also finding someone competent and who works well with white ink...the inside of your arm is a tender spot so be prepared and as far as how well ink holds that's entirely up to your body and how well you take care of your tattoo. Meet with artists talk it over and find one you like and are comfortable with it took me 3 mediocre tattoos and 2 artists before I found someone I want to spend significant amounts of time money and skin on/with don't settle and be willing to spend the dough
