Things have gotten better as far as my fustration and anger. I think alot of it was steming from not being able to contact loved ones and hearing a particular one cry. Given she has as the reasons in the world, just not being able to comfort her kills me on the inside

Pretty much, spend more time sitting down waiting for it to go away, then I do actively stand watch. Unless I can't wash my hands before putting it into submission.
