First post, need help with hot glue + jawsets

So I am making my first partial, and I have done so much research on what to do/what not to do, but I have come to a problem.
While gluing my jawset to the resin blank, it seems to have moved just the slightest bit to where the teeth lock together slightly/it makes it difficult to open and close the mouth. The problem is that I used extra strength ( Read more... )

Could you be very careful with a heat gun and heat the glue back up to release the jaw piece that moved? I say very careful cause the mask would be affected by heat as well.

This worked to a certain extent, but not enough to make a difference.
What I did find though, through scouring the web, is that rubbing alcohol will soften hot glue enough to remove it! So after spot testing to make sure it wouldn't damage any other parts of the head/jawset, I poured some alcohol in, let it sit, and with a little bit of wiggling, the jawset popped right out. I was able to reposition and glue it in properly, making sure this time that it wouldn't move. Fixed successfully!
