Is the item old or new (if old, how long have you had it/when was it made?) Brand new! I've only had it a week now :) Finished about early May 2010

--Grade each below aspect on a scale of 1 (worst) to 5 (best)--

Visual Aspect (does it match the concept art? Is it consistent with other items the maker has produced? Is it visually pleasing overall?): 5
For such a complicated fursuit, along with doing extra padding on the legs and chest, Growly did an OUTSTANDING job keeping true to the character. There were only slight color variations, as the talons should have been yellow, were made ivory, and there shouldn't be two blue patches on each of her upper armpit/shoulder area. Other then that- I couldn't have begged for a better job! It's incredibly accurate to what I gave her. It's so clean and beautiful :)

Service Aspect (Deadlines. Communication. Little extras.): 4..ish
Growly and I had agreed upon completion date for FWA of this year, back when I first commissioned her to make my fursuit. Every other week, she would give me a few updates to tell me how things were going. After about 3 updates, the span between my updates became fewer, though not quite that few. She had recently recieved a full time job, and said that she would be rather busy. This was understandable, but it went against the earlier agreement where I would recieve picture updates every other week to show progress.. Having said that- I only saw foamwork on the head being done, and after that- all I got to see was the suit after it was nearly completely finished, sewn, everything. Another thing, is that despite our deadline agreement, she missed it. Though she was polite, there was nothing much she offered me to make up for lost time. I didn't go to the con then, because I didn't have the suit I planned on taking.

Workmanship Aspect (Is the sewing neat? Are things that should be sewn glued or vise versa? Does it fit? Has anything fallen off yet that shouldn’t have): 5
The fursuit build is phenomenal. The seams are tight and firmly stitched, and she even put on a layer of jersey like material as to help with breath-ability!! The suit is fit perfectly to my body, and is skin tight. It's a VERY snug fit, and makes me a little nervous to try and bend, but Growly informed me that through constant wear it will stretch. I never knew that about fur! :D The construction was pretty good, though there were a few concerns of mine about the quality of the suit. There were holes in the fleece, and problems with visibility through the fursuit eyes. But Growly was more then happy to assist me any way she could :)

Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments:
I guess this is asking for a summary. Of most of the fursuit artists I know, Growly worked not only quickly, but professionally despite the fact that she had a full time job tucked under her belt at the same time. The pros are she is VERY VERY easy and kind to work with. She will bend over backwards for ANYTHING YOU NEED! This makes her a treasure among artists!!!! The only cons I had run into in the entire process was my missed deadline, the complexity of trying to get it on, and the vision I can't seem to get to work fot me >.< Though I'm sure it just needs to be adjusted somehow, and I just can't seem to grasp what I'm doing wrong...

Final Grade (out of 5): 4.75
A great girl
A PROFESSIONAL artist
A patient, creative mind.

If you ever get a chance to commission Growly for a fursuit- do it. Take your most beloved character to her, because she will treat it with all the love and respect that she possibly can. She's a treat to work with!!
