Conclusion? I love it. So simple, and short, but it seems finished, like it's not just cut off. It doesn't really click that it's as short as it is. I don't like reading big long fanfics on computers, anyway... I find them awkward to read in general.
Yay, awesome fanfic! ♥

I'm so happy that you enjoyed this piece! I don't mean to gripe, but I put this up several days ago on ff.n and no one reviewed it, making me worry that I'd done something terribly wrong, so it's nice to get some positive feedback - and from you, no less! :D I definitely agree about long fanfics... and it's kind of a good thing, since I seem incapable of writing fanfics longer than 1, 000 words!

Hey, quality over quantity, right?
And I mean it, because I've found some fanfics on ff.n that are absolute shit. :\

Yes. Yes, indeed. I completely agree, because I've read some beautiful drabbles that don't even cap at 1, 000 that are so much better than the ones I've read which are 50, 000 words long. But then... I've also read some amazing stories that are quite long in and of themselves.
Oh, my god. I know! Most of the stuff on ff.n is absolute shit and it gets really frustrating trying to find something good. Even more so, is when you do, but the author hasn't written any more than what you've read. That's really frustrating. ;-;

*sigh* Death Note, how I used to love thee. Then, just as I finished reading you, I discovered AFI. The end.
I've only written one DN fanfic, but it's on my old FF.net account (under the penname Tastywheat). I read it over a few weeks ago for the first time since I'd written it, and it's not too shabby, though I immediately saw where I could have smoothed over some of the language or eased a transition.

For me, it was the other way around. I just discovered Death Note recently... I'd say... late December, maybe? But I instantly fell in love with it (and this was the DUB, mind you!) and I find myself going back to watch some of the more epic episodes, like episodes seven, seventeen, and the major cliffhanger at the end of thirty six. I'm also checking out the manga, which it about time...
Isn't that nice? To go back to an old fic and find it's not as bad as you'd expect? Unfortunately, that hasn't happened to ME yet, but... I can dream!
Thank you for reading this. It means a lot. :D

Matt....Matt....still not ringing a bell. Oh well, I'll have to look him up in the manga sometime. I think I still have the entire scanlated series saved on my hard drive. *goes to search*
I can't watch the dub, because the voices don't sound anything like how I imagined the characters would sound. It freaks my brain out. Never was a big fan of dubs anyways. They totally ruined One Piece when they dubbed it.

Well, damn. I guess I'm not very good at describing a person. I'd find a picture, but I kind of fail and don't know where I could find one that isn't fanart apart from the manga, and if you have it saved on your hard drive, I don't think I need to.
I can watch the dub because it was what got me started, so I never had a chance to decide what I thought the characters would sound like. But... I love their Japanese voice actors so much; I definitely prefer them to the English dub, although Rem's voice is really fitting in the dub despite being quite different from her Japanese one. I agree about the One Piece thing, though. I mean... yikes.
