Name: I don't like my real name. D: It's annoying because people are stupid.
Nicknames: Des
Gender: Female
Sexual preference: Bi
Age: 19
Chinese Zodiac: Rabbit
Western Zodiac: Aries
Likes: Des likes sleeping in, being lazy, hilarious people and conversation, speaking in the third person, studying Japanese, my tablet, dark and/or British humor, peppy music, keeeeyblaaaade, American Cartoons, pants, sunglasses that make me look like a STAR~, the phantom erection, rave lights, strobe lights, disco balls, lava lamps, and the Light/Holy element in general, Fireworks! The feeling when you're down and depressed and then you find out that your least favorite college class is cancelled for the day, AND the student council is giving out free Krispy Kreme donuts, and you know it's the entire universe telling you to smile, so you cheer up right away. In fact, any time when the universe tries to cheer me up, like seeing a rainbow in a sprinkler when you're pissed off and walking up a really big hill. And getting compliments. Also, being on stage.
Dislikes: Politics, pessimists, organized religion, tight bras, anything itchy, food that tastes boring, or is too rich, or has a combination of flavors that I dislike. I also hate walking in the rain - I don't understand people who like rain, I mean, it's so annoying. Drip, drip, drip, and it gets on my glasses and I can't see and my clothes are too wet to wipe them off. Another thing that annoys me is people who are too overprotective or obsessed with their cat or dog. ESPECIALLY if they call them their "children," or make them wear pet sweaters. It seriously annoys the hell out of me.
Strengths: I'm very bright, and I exude lots of self-confidence. I'm a relaxing, funny, easy-going person. I can sometimes be a good leader - if there's a project that has to be done and my team-mates are slacking off, I usually try to prod them into participating, or if it's a project that I'm really excited about, I try to get everyone geared up and motivated for it. I'm pretty generous. I'm the type of person who wants to buy her friends presents for no reason, and if a stranger asks me for a dollar for something like a snack or bus fare, I'll probably give it to them if I can afford to. I have a good long-term memory and can usually remember old conversations with people. I'm also open-minded, and I'll try anything once. I'm honest to a fault, and I expect people to be just as honest as I am.
Weaknesses: I'm extremely bad at opening up to people. I'm usually really distant, spacey, and off in my own little world, and I'm said by many to be cold, apathetic, and manipulative. Sometimes I can be very rude to people without realizing it, and the way I show affection is a bit... out there. Basically, the more I like you, the more blunt I get with you, and the more I tease you and act mean in what I think is playful. Sometimes people get really hurt by that, though, and it just baffles me. I'm childish and I don't want to grow up or change. I'm also pretty snarky, and I can be very stubborn if I'm trying to argue a point. I also tend to snipe at people who show bad ettiquette on the internet. I used to look down on people very much, but I think I've changed since then.
Hobbies: RPing, making AMVs and other forms of fandom-related crack.
Talents: Acting, drawing.
Personality in three words: Eccentric, carefree, blunt
For yourself...
Leader or follower: I think I'm a good leader, but due to laziness I tend not to step up to the plate until I've made sure nobody else has ventured forth. At any rate, I wouldn't say that I'm a follower.
Agressive or passive: Passive-agressive; the "Don't get mad, get even" type.
Outgoing or reserved: Reasonably outgoing. I'm no stick in the mud and I will occasionally talk to a stranger just to talk to them, but I'm not the type who will just run everyone over with buckets of energy and be all "HI HI HI!" I'm not always up in people's faces, but I'll always talk to you if you talk to me first.
Love or lust: Lust is what I claim to be interested in for egoist purposes, but deep down I really just want a traditional fairy tale romance. :3
Share feelings or bottle them up: Bottle bottle. I don't even know how to express my feelings really. I just act cool and confident all the time, because it makes people comfortable. I also know how to draw myself into that game, so that by the time I end up with my friends, any unhappiness is extinguished. Of course, I don't really express happiness that well either. Feelings require too much energy, man! D:
For your ideal partner...
Leader or follower: I'm usually attracted to the leader types. It takes a strong personality to catch my attention, and someone who is probably my senior, or smarter, funnier or more talented than me in some way. I tend to overlook people who I consider equals when it comes to romance.
Agressive or passive: Passive. I find true agression to be unbecoming and a sign of weakness. Of course, I'd prefer it if the person was neither passive nor agressive, and was simply assertive. But if there wasn't allowed to be a middle ground, I'd prefer passive.
Outgoing or reserved: Outgoing, so that the romance can actually HAPPEN. XD If the guy was reserved, we'd probably both keep our feelings to ourselves and never end up together.
Love or lust: Whatever floats his boat.
Share feelings or bottle them up: Mmm... probably bottling as well. People who tell me their feelings all the time usually leave me feeling awkward, because I don't know how to respond to that. I feel like I need to provide a logical explanation when they do that, but it never works, so I get frustrated.
Favorite Fruits Basket chapter/s or episode/s and why: The episode where you find out about Momiji's past. He's not just your run-of-the-mill annoying shallow shouta boy. It was the episode that touched me the most.
Favorite Fruits Basket character and why: HIRO IS SUCH A BRAT HE'S EFFING CUTE. XD <3 Kagura also left a good impression on me, just because she's scary as hell.
Traits you are looking for in a partner: Ugh. D: I really don't know. When I was in my crush phase, I pretty much just looked for people who were funny, frivolous and attractive. But that was a rebound, and now I'm over that, so I just don't know anymore. o.O
Traits you dislike: "Poetic" types. I absolutely do not want some windbag who thinks they can write like any other emo kid. D: I also don't want someone who doesn't share any interests with me. And please, do not brag about doing things that are completely stupid, like places where you got lit. >o>;
Describe your ideal first date in detail: A theme park seems like a good place for a first date. You're pretty much guaranteed a day's worth of things to do, and you'll learn fun facts about the person the whole time, such as if they're afraid of roller coasters (for which they would be sure to get a hard time from me XD), what kind of food they like to eat, what things in the shops they think are cool, and plus theme parks always put me in a good mood, so I would be able to give a good first impression without really thinking about it.
