The loss of the parking receipt was such a tiny addition that looms over the whole thing. I love it! I'm glad to read that this was fiction - they got a nice vacay, but all of the blunders leading up to it, sheesh. Although I certainly can't say I've never done anything like that before; I inevitably leave something at my sister's house every time we visit here, only to realize I left it there eight hours later when I finally get home!

I thought it was non-fiction, too, but fiction or not, cute story either way! I LOLed often since my husband and I are always a hot mess when we travel. ;)
