So many reasons access to this kind of care is needed. I hope the congresswoman listens, but... it is a sad time to live in the US and I don't have much faith in that. I thought you had a great method of sharing all these different experiences, though.

I was a young mom, my oldest traveled to my college classes with me while I waited for an affordable day care to become available. On learning I was pregnant, the first center I visited turned out to be a faith-based pregnancy crisis center (they were not educating me on options, because after listening to me cry for a bit, they asked me if I knew about Jesus Christ). This sort of took me back to that time/place in my mind (though clearly, your center has a more open approach). I feel like this country works so hard to punish women - and mostly young girls - for acts they practically applaud in young men. It's exhausting. I'm glad in your story, Christine doesn't have to be alone.

Very relevant. Unfortunately, those who are bent on taking away those rights are operating from moral absolutes that don't value the woman's feelings or experiences.
