More Taiwan adventures: Fancy Frontier

So, Fancy Frontier is the local bi-annual (I think?) comicket in Taiwan, held at National Taiwan University. Although there was that one major mishap (orz), the con itself was great fun-- it's quite different from cons in the US! Sort of like the artists' alley expanded into the size of the dealer room; it is nice that people care so much about

The con itself is definitely smaller than, say, AnimeBoston, but imagining the artists' alley on this scale is amazing!

Waaaa~! Those are seriously some of the best cosplayers I've ever seen! What a great event!! And so cheap.. and you're lucky you can read Chinese. ^3^
If only this type of amazing event happened in America...

Yeah, I know~ And most of the cosplayers were about this level. I think the last pic (the Shuurei one) was probably one of the weaker cosplays I saw, but it was still REALLY good!

Heh, my Chinese is pretty weak, but I'm OK enough to get by... I'm so sad I won't be able to go to an event like this for a long time...

Was the Korean artist you saw Kine in Aqua?

Yeah, it was great!! The atmosphere is so different but it's cool in its own way (and omg sooo many cosplayers and hardly any of the big three hahaha)

uwaah, my grandparents' apartment is so close to that Taiwan University…I wish I could attend some year. ;__;
