MCR "secret" show at PC Richards, 11/30/10

Because of a sudden work issue, I am not at the Roseland Gaslight Anthem/My Chemical Romance show as I had planned to me. Under other circumstances, I would be despondent, but I am simply disappointed and sad not to be seeing my friends and concert buddies who are all there tonight. I totally feel you on the Danger Days stuff - just the whole thing about making art with the people you love, and doing what YOU want to do with your life, just hits me right in the chest. it was actually refreshing to hear about adventures in front of ray for a change! i couldn't see him or james at our show. only occasionally would ray pop into view for a millisecond (and which point i would grab the nearest friend by the arm and go ray! ray! :D :D :D!).

You know that I'm a cry baby at heart so, well, there's no point to deny that I cried reading what you wrote, just like I cried when I read Meggie's post and when I got Deb's dms.

I am so fucking glad that you all were there, baby. It's like, this band means something for us all and knowing that you all, people who I love were there, means a lot to me.

The last two paragraphs... oh Shannon, I can't even start with words to tell you how much it's true - we carry all the good and bad experiences we had in life with us and even the dark moments happen for a reason. Still, we don't need to be defined by those moments.
