So it's entirely possible that Avengers will be the thing that lures me back into online fandom...because at this point in time, all I want to do is grab virtual hands with everyone and jump up and down with glee over this movie and all it brought and all it implies

So I haven't seen the Avengers movie yet, but I don't mind at all being spoiled.

So what is the slashy/kinky fuss about? Can you explain? Should I see this movie? Because now you've got me curious. :)

I'm glad you're finding work satisfying, even if it's stressful. And that you've found a network of support. That's huge. But I had no doubts you would find one no matter where you would go. You're so good at making meaningful friendships and friendships that give you support and squee.

Have you seen all of the individual movies? If not, I HIGHLY recommend you check out Thor immediately, as that's the one that sent my needles aflickering, with the 'villain' (c'mon, it's Loki!) carrying over...but the Avengers itself is full of slashy pairings and angst and snark and meaningful looks and ~feelings~!

And thanks...I don't have the same confidence in myself, as I think I am incredibly introverted. *hugs*
