So, Annette or Tarja? (since that's the most important question, apparently)

*rolls eyes and laughs* How did I know that question was coming? As you can probably guess, I've thought a LOT about this.

I think the real reason I fell in love with Nightwish in the first place is because of Tuomas's songwriting. I loved Tarja's voice, but I love Annette's voice, too, even though it's different. I guess you could say that I respect the work Tarja's put into her style a bit more, because I take voice lessons with a teacher who really pushes classical singing, and I know how hard it is. But in the end, I love listening to both equally, as long as Tuomas keeps writing incredible lyrics and melodies (not to mention Marco's lovely songs, of course).

(Although I have to say Annette makes it harder to avoid comparison to Evanescence. But I try not to be too snobbish about that.)

I like both Tarja and Annette, but.. get ready for this..

MARCO!! He's my favorite! He has such a beautiful voice.. but he doesnt sing nearly enough

Tuomas is a bit depressing with his lyrics, isnt he :D but hey, I still like them :D

But, yeah, they're both equally talented in different areas. I like them both. But, Marco. Just Marco. *drool*
