my objection is with the idiots who think that people who raid private and merchant ships, kidnap the crew and cargo and demand a ransom, you know, do actual real PIRATE STUFF somehow infringes on their right to dress like an eighties hard rock band and prance about doing bad Johny Depp impressions.

I'm aware that most of the people in the article have tongue firmly in cheek, but this being the world we live in, I also do not doubt that some of them are taking this completely seriously.
