So. I've currently been obsessing over Star Trek XI and all the characters but specifically the new oldest slash pairing... Kirk/Spock. So I've submerged myself into the wonderful world of fandom for the past week or so and have come up with... porn fic. :) Yay! Well, more like the tiniest piece of fic of porn ever... but still. Woo, you're a good writer. This is me complimenting your style, not the hot mental images that anyone with half a grasp of the English language could have helped me imagine.

But seriously, yeah, anyone can write Spock/Kirk or any kind of slash with hot characters and if it's half decent, the brain of the reader does the rest. Which is why I object to people commenting with "OMG hot" when the author needs to go back to school for some literary lessons, and which is why I make the distinction to good writers that I want them for their brain, not the hotness of the actors.

Your brain. I wants you for it.

I hadn't really considered how much work the brain of the reader does... hmm...
I confess... it's my first real pwp and i haven't written decent fanfiction in YEARS.
And there are a lot of good writers out on lj, which is why I shall say--You flatterer.
But I live for comments like yours. :)
