I think it's hilarious how the first step in any baking recipe is to always preheat oven, even if the dough has to cool or proof for an extended amount of time.

dude, yess. The oven was probably on for about an hour, an hour and a half before I even started to use it. I was scared i was going to burn some things!
plus, oh gosh, did it ever get hot in the kitchen.

I turn on the oven like ten minutes before I want to use it. Five minutes sometimes if I'm lazy. It's really not that big of a deal.

I'm still not sure when I'm visiting. I want to go real soon, but I'm just waiting until I find another job for the summer and then work around it.
