[ The Meowth reaches out for the screen, meowing, herself. She just gets her claws hooked over the edge of the 'Gear when her trainer pulls her away. ]

Watch and learn, Hyoutei.

[ Yes. Niou is going to show you how to disarm a cat.

He begins by stroking her back smoothly, then pauses to scratch her briefly behind the ears. She's still watching Cassandra on the screen, but it's safe to say she's sufficiently distracted.

By the time he moves on to scratch beneath her chin, her eyes are closed. She leans against her trainer's shoulder, and as his attentions move down her throat and chest, she slumps down and eventually rolls over, letting him rub her belly. Her purring is audible through the 'Gear. ]
