Luckily for Bakura, Niou's reflexes are sharp: he sidesteps just in time. ]

Careful! [ His voice is higher than normal, but still a little husky. He doesn't sound chastising, just a bit surprised. ]

[ The screen goes black, and when it resumes, the feed is being filtered, courtesy of Niou's Porygon-Z, who seems to vastly enjoy video editing, as well.

When Niou comes into view, he's adjusting his convincingly fake chest, watching himself in the mirror. Hearts and sparkles scatter around the edges of the feed, and a loud doki overlays the audio for a second. A harp chimes when Niou turns toward the camera.

The extra effects fade, and he smiles with glossy lips and speaks in a husky, flirtatious alto. ]

[And slowly but surely, the pieces start falling into place. What colors go with his eyes. The nail salon. Couple that with the emotional state he knows Niou's been in lately and his own recent arrival, and it paints a fairly vivid, albeit head-shaking, picture.]

Smiling up at Shiraishi (and carefully disguising the mischief in it), Niou remains crouched where he is, not wanting to dwarf Shiraishi immediately by standing up. ]

[ Niou just barely sidesteps, but not quite fast enough - he ends up catching hold of the girl by her shoulders when they bump into each other, because he's almost sure she'd have fallen otherwise. Lady or not, he must outweigh a girl her size by at least forty pounds. ]

[ He lets go of the girl quickly enough, because he really hates to give off the lesbian vibe right off the bat. She seems familiar, though... ]

[ she's already looking contrite (aided by the fact that the Wigglytuff ears can droop), waiting until she's steady before she dusts off the pink skirt and looks up, ready to assure her that there's no harm done.

What emerges is just "Oh, no h--" before she realizes she still isn't done looking up. A quick glance to the heels-- impressive, but this girl has some serious height on her. She's about Kanji's height. And familiar, enough that she's tilting her head nearly imperceptibly to figure out why. ]

[ Once they're looking at each other, it doesn't take more than a second for recognition to set in. He can't help brightening a little, but his recovery is quick - he smiles, all glossy lips and straight white teeth. ]
