To anyone who cares (Saran said this morning that he thought these parcels of information are boring) I present you with my June/July reading list
( Read more... )
thank you thank you xoxo. It's a big huge thing...bigger than I had imagined and we'll probably have to risk everything we have, but I'm really excited about the prospect (although it will not be for the next year or so that we actually turn up at a bank begging for a loan)
And here I thought you disappeared! You'll have to keep me up-to-date on your reading; Confederacy of Dunces might be the funniest book I've ever read.
You should follow through with your idea of opening up a store. I'd love to own my own business.... Maybe I will, someday.
Confederacy of Dunces was supremely funny...until the last 50 pages, or so, and then, in my humble opinion, he tied up all the individual stories in a really cliché and drab manner. Pale Fire is lovely so far...I’m having to ditch Ulysses and The Bell Jar as I have reconsidered my selections and deemed them too heavy for summer...any suggestions?
Gosh opening a business is going to be scary...and since you may be pursuing it your self some day I will definitely keep you abreast. We’ve met with a small business consultant and it was an “eye-opener”, anything you have you have to risk just to be considered by a bank for a business loan. Capitalism. Yikes.
