The Hyperbolic Time Chamber... A room that can allow you to train for a year, but outside, only a day passes...

I still can't believe that such a thing exists. Even at the Lookout.

[[6% spent on what the Hyperbolic Time Chamber is and a portion of the year he spent inside it. 61% total; 0% remaining.]]

That actually doesn't surprise me. If it's possible to spend one night in a place, but end up coming home a year later... why not the opposite?

You'd think, but at least relativity explains the first one. I have no idea how the Hyperbolic Time Chamber works.

Magic, maybe? Or some kind of weird logic that we don't know about yet.

Perhaps. The place it was located at is called Kami's Lookout. It's where the Guardian of the Earth lives. And in my world, the Guardian of the Earth is parallel to God.

. . . Would you have aged a year during that time period? Or a day?

Well, a person's body will have spent a year in the room. So anyone who spends a full year in there will have aged a year.

Interesting. I can't say the side effects would justify using something like that, though -- I'd rather live out the full year in real time and train slowly.

Under normal circumstances, I would be inclined to agree. However, desperate times call for desperate measures.
