All year long we've been getting new entrants into hogwarts because of the sorting hat incident...heh...well now the year is almost over (thank merlins beard) and everyone has stopped calling me "miss clumsy". it wasn't my fault i tripped and the candle i was holding set the sorting hat on fire. it was my feet's fault. ERGH! i just had to let

::sniffle:: w-w-weelllll...did anyone ever explain to you why you had to come to hogwarts for an irregular term? did you know that until now school always starts on september first? well its just that---i came early to hogwarts because i had nowhere else to go and head master Arbil said that i could stay with him and his wife in the castle but knocked over a candle and made the sorting hate go on fire. it took most of the school year to repair it and now they all need to work doubletime to get the 1st years all caught up by the time of next september. thats why youre getting so much work---its ALL my FAULT!

Aww, it was a mistake though! It could have been anyone in your place. Plus, the work load hasn't been too heavy, at least not to me. I'm sure no one notices. We're first years after all, most of us don't even realize anything's different because we're so new. So don't let that get you down! You're sorry about it and people who have a problem with the Sorting hat incident should accept your apology. If they don't, then they just aren't good people, and you shouldn't worry about them.
