Responsibilities on Arrakis had kept Leto's thoughts away from his recent conversation with Sparkle. He had also let go of concerns about whether what had been said should have remained unspoken since that was no longer a possibility, and while he might be able to do many things, changing the past wasn't one of them

Sparkle smiled back as he reached to take Leto's offered hand. So far, this walk in the park business was... well... a walk in the park, and he found it easy to relax in Leto's presence even if he was sure their last few conversations were going to be brought up again at some point during their stroll.

"City and quiet," he mused, giving Leto's hand an affectionate squeeze. "Living in Fandom for over a year again, I almost forgot the two can exist forever."

It was either all or nothing, with an island as small and secluded as Fandom. And his last memories of Toronto were of the loud. This... this was nice.

That conversation would probably come up, yes, in one way or another. For now, Leto tugged Sparkle a little closer.

"I... mostly remember cities." He hoped Sparkle would understand what kind of memories he was referring to. "Although the sietch can be noisy enough as you know. But Arrakeen..."

He looked up at the tree tops. "Hania told me you showed her how to climb trees."

Sparkle's smile softened for a moment as he leaned against Leto's side. Yeah, he could guess what kind of memories Leto was talking about. The notion was almost normal, now. Kind of just something else about Leto, on the long list of Things About Leto.

"I mean, I tried to show her how to climb trees. I think she has an easier time getting out of them than she does getting up into them, though. It's funny, with most kids it's the other way around."

That Sparkle showed no sign of uneasiness about those memories didn't quite surprise Leto, but was still a good thing to know. He leaned close and brushed his lips lightly against Sparkle's cheek.

"Maybe having learnt to climb rocks before does that."
