When you're not allowed to study? The teacher we're supposed to have watching the class has "stepped out" for a bit, that was 15 minutes ago. So of course, half the class is throwing spitballs or screaming and yelling. I was going to try to get through my math homework, but it's hard to focus. So, I'm going to write and entry and see if the ( Read more... )

Why do they even bother having study halls? I mean, do they really think a group of kids all gathered in one room with their friends are really going to study?

You know, I have no idea why they bother with it myself. I'd rather have one less class a day and get out earlier.

I dunno about that fort idea. Couldn't the cold do something to the instrument? :/

But things will get better. And until then I'll tell the woodchucks to hide. ;)

I hope things will get better. Maybe I could bring a little heater up to the fort?

That could work if that's what you really really really want to do, but still, having to go out there all by yourself to practice doesn't sound fun at all. If you ever want company I'll be more than happy to join you. I fear no dying woodchucks. :) And it *will* get better. Nobody sounds good the first time they try an instrument. Or do I need to find BB a drum set to prove that to you? *g*

BB keeps a beat better than I saw on that violin. But if you really want to risk your eardrums, you're welcome to join me when I practice.

Good luck on mastering your Violin. I think Piper's right, you will get better it will just take some time.

And I expect you to come over and play for me when you learn the hard songs!

Want me to come over and play for you now? I can play scales and it sounds like I'm torturing creatures. It's great!

But, my teacher thinks I have one iota of talent somewhere in my body, so we'll see.

Uh...how about come back and play for me in a few weeks? No offense, but the way you and Kia described it, I like my ears right now!

Aww, too bad. Okay, when I can actually play something that sounds like music, I'll come over.
