Thanks for all the good vibes everyone sent me about the orange kitty, and it turns out I assumed correctly. He was under the porch, too stupid to figure out how to get out. So I helped him out, and he was thankful. He is currently back to his normal productive self as you can see.

And I love the mixer. I'm keeping it out on the counter because I like looking at it. Except it doesn't fit on the counter because my cupboards are low, so it's sitting on my rollaround dishwasher. :-)
