Just saw the Heroes pilot episode.

It was interesting. It reminded me of Lost: the diversity of characters with a common theme uniting them. And also - fat Japanese person aside - they are all normal everyday people ( Read more... )

And I'm even more confused because I have no idea what you're talking about.

Except, yes, all heroes are in NYC. Where I should be. (I'm not a hero, I just miss the City.)

Ha! I've just seen the first two episodes of Heroes. And I was just rambling. Good night, bed calls me.

A president that could fly...?
Today my mom said something like "X will happen when pigs fly" and I told her that in the not-too-distant future, we probably could genetically engineer a pig that could fly.
She gave me her "oh quit being such a 17yo" look and told me that making a pig that could fly would be such a waste of resources and time, which is probably true considering that it would be probably end up in a hot dog anyway...

Fat Japanese guy? Are you talking about the one of the main characters? He's not really fat...and I thought he was Chinese.

Yes, I am. Damn, I took great care to make sure I didn't put him down as Chinese when he was Japanese. (I'm always careful never to mix the two.) Oops.

This is one of those shows that I hope I got into. But, it started when I really didn't have a television. =/

Yeah, but I have to watch the first episode at it's assigned time and year to really get into a show, haha. I'm kind of OCD like that.

Fat Japanese guy gets no love! D: Hiro is cool. I only saw bits and pieces, but he's cool, cos he's the 'benevolent' one, who actually wants to use his powers for a cause, and is close to the comic book heroes he idolises. Something about that I find admirable.

Only thing I don't like: Radio One today is going mad on "Yatta!" which is like "Yay I did it!" in Japanese...I hope it doesn't turn into a craze, it's already used enough by annoying teens in places. ¬_¬

P.S: He isn't fat forever. ;)
