[series]: Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
[character]: Miura Haru
[character history / background]: Reborn!wikia
We first meet Haru when she’s not so subtly stalking Reborn. Fancying herself in love with the little guy, she climbs on a fence to “get to his level” and initiates a first encounter. She asks Reborn if she can hug and squeeeeeaze him really tightly and if she can be his friend. Reborn tells her he’s a hitman and warns her against getting too close; Haru of course, doesn’t believe it and puts the blame on the older brother figure; she scolds Tsuna for teaching violence to a baby.

It goes worse from thereon. She learns from Gokudera’s sister, Bianchi, that Tsuna will be the tenth Vongola boss. Haru declares she’ll believe that, and believe that Reborn is a famous hitman if Tsuna defeats her in combat. Okay, so she faces him dressed in a really ridiculous samurai outfit and branding a hockey stick as a weapon, but the thing remains: she’s not someone to trifle with. Especially if your name is Tsuna and you’re kinda sorta pathetic at fighting even a girl without the help of the Dying Will Bullet. As she attacks, Gokudera jumps in to defend and rescue Tsuna (like the good lapdog-er, right hand man-he is), which ends up with Haru being tossed into a river. Finally, Reborn shoots the dying will bullet at Tsuna, which makes him jump in after her and saving her from drowning.

This brings in a change in Haru. So now, her attentions have switched from Reborn to Tsuna, with whom she will be convinced in love (even if it’s one-sided). She even “believes” Reborn and Bianchi (mostly in the same way Yamamoto and Ryohei believe them) when they tell her they’re part of the mafia, and is determined to become Tsuna’s mafia wife, come what may.

From hereon, Haru becomes somewhat of a ‘permanent’ addition to the group, especially when they’re having fun. She’s always seen taking care of the babies and children (Fuuta, Lambo, I-Pin), and has a tendency to pop by Tsuna’s house unannounced, just like everybody else.

We also learn about Haru that aside from being a student at a private elite middle-school named Midori Middle, she’s very smart-even though it’s hard to tell sometimes. Haru’s father is a university professor, he teaches maths; a subject which Haru excels in. Haru befriends almost everyone in Tsuna’s life: unexpectedly, instead of sharing a “rivalry in love”, she and Kyoko are best of friends; she’s friends with Bianchi as well, especially when it comes to the older woman teaching her how to cook; she’s insanely protective of the kids, and will hit you if you’re threatening them, or teaching them bad things children shouldn’t know of. Or if you’re Gokudera.

Her relationship with Tsuna makes her the target of several of his enemies, even though Haru remains blissfully oblivious to it. It’s uncertain if she really realises the extent of Tsuna’s duties as the following Vongola boss, or if she takes it seriously or as a game; but then again, she’s not the only Reborn character to think that way. Nevertheless, she loyally sticks by his side.

[character abilities]: Booksmarts is basically all she’s got, otherwise; a simple human.
[character personality]: Haru is a retard. Although not really. She’s not really a complicated person; most of the times you could almost say that she’s the typical Japanese girl: a hopeless romantic, in love with the main hero. She’s dramatic, unafraid to make a fool of herself to prove something-she stands up for her beliefs with fierce determination, which often ends her in some sort of trouble because she can’t keep her mouth shut. Her logic is not the best you’ll find, but be certain that she believes every word she says! She’s impulsive, stubborn, and entirely unashamed of her love for Tsuna.

She loves kids, and kids love her; she spoils them often, with candy or treats, and always scolds whoever’s teaching them bad mafia things-if they do. When Haru loves, she loves with everything she has: her soul, her heart and her stupidity as well. This is probably why she’s still with Tsuna’s group, even after the “tournament” against Xanxus. She’s fiercely loyal, refusing to leave Tsuna’s side at times. She wills herself to be strong and not cry when things have hit a bump in the road, because mafia wives have to be strong for their husbands.

She’s smart, though it’s hard to believe that. When she talks, she sounds silly at best, but the fact remains; she’s always with a book in her hand, constantly studying for some exam. It’s unclear whether she’s the first of her class or not, but she can definitely give Gokudera competition, much to his chagrin.

In conclusion; she’s silly, smart, loyal, caring, nurturing, determined, dramatic, a spazz, and all around a charmer that makes basically everyone who knows her like her. Or tolerate her.
[point in timeline you're picking your character from]: Chapter 142, manga. Just after she arrives to the future.

[VOICE POST]

Hahiii? Where is Haru at-

Lambo? I-Pin? Yamamoto-san?

Hahi! That’s right, we were looking for Gokudera and the rest-where is that guy, anyway? We still need to find Tsuna, and Reborn, and…

…I hope I’m not lost…h-hahii? What’s this? Did I somehow end up at the underground shopping center? All these lights-is that a carousel? Haru hasn’t been on a carousel since-

No, no, wait a minute here! Haru cannot be kept back from her mission! First, what place is this. Second, where is everyone. And then, getting out of here, and looking for Reborn-san at--……those ponies are so pretty--MISSION!

HARU TO THE RESCUE!

[third person / log sample]:

She was lost. Probably.

Haru remembered rushing down the streets of Namimori, hurrying towards Yamamoto’s house. She’d been entrusted a important mission from Tsuna, after all! Well…sort of. Either way, the fact remained.

Reborn was missing. That adorable little kid that Haru had loved before her wonderful super-cool mafia price Tsuna had rescued her and opened her eyes as to whom she had been born to love, was missing. Of course, Reborn was a hitman, though Haru knew that even hitmen got lost, or were hungry, or wanted candy, or needed a nap. What if he’d fallen asleep somewhere and someone had kidnapped him-there were a lot of strange people in Namimori these days, you never knew!-or what if he’d woken up in a strange land and didn’t know his way back home?

“Haru will probably find him at Yamamoto’s place, though. No need to worry,” she whispered to herself, rushing towards her destination. Yamamoto was a friend of Reborn’s right? Surely, Reborn was there.

Only he wasn’t. So she and Yamamoto carried on the search, for the love of Reborn, and the love of Tsuna. Because if Tsuna was worried, then Haru was also worried. No, correction! If Tsuna was worried, then Haru had a mission! Make Tsuna Stop Worrying. Which could only be achieved by finding Reborn.

And that, right now, was a problem. One moment she’d been rushing down the streets of her town, and the next, she was in a foreign place. Just like that. Poofed out of nowhere into nowhere. “Is Haru dreaming? H-Hahiii…”

There were many, many lights. She didn’t believe in aliens, or maybe she did when it was convenient for her. But she had a feeling that whatever strange place this was, it should not stop her from continuing her search. Because, imagine what would happen if Tsuna came here too! He’d be worried, and then he wouldn’t like it if Haru gave up the search. No matter how pretty the carousel was. She was a woman on a mission. Lost.

But still on a mission.
