I got the rice. Anyone who has electonics that need drying out, please bring them to the Hephaestus cabin Forge. I'll be doing my best to get all our technological friends back into working order.

[ooc: sooo, in case anyone was wondering, Inui sort of blew up the door to the storage shed the rice was being stored in and took ALL of it.]

Are you going to give yourself a rice bath? I hear you come out smelling very refreshing.

My friends come first, Niou Masaharu. I must reserve all this rice for them. I will not forgive myself if I cannot revive them. I miss their voices.

If I lend you my phone will you tell me what it whispers to you? Can you talk to watches if they're entirely mechanical? Do they have a voice?

If it wants to talk to me. Renji's laptop tells me all sorts of things, but never any secrets about what Renji does online. If your technology likes you, it will keep your data safe from me.

If it is electronic, I can communicate with it. I believe that it is because I was made by Hephaestus and because they recognize me as one of them and thus are more eager to talk to me.

...Sadaharu, why is the grain storage area smoking?

Because I needed the rice to save my friends and the door was in my way. Logic dictated that the easiest way was to remove the door as I doubt I'd be given the key. A simple application of leftover powder from the fireworks later and I have all the rice I require.

...next time, I'm teaching you how to use lockpicks. A lot less destructive.

You know how to do this? Did you learn it from one of the Hermes children?

almost half of them are in rice now, so we should know if it's working soon.

I'll be in with them, keeping them company and listening for any signs of life. You have our cabin to yourself until they all return to us.

Nah, I'll sleep in the forge just in case. Better to have an extra set of eyes on them and on you.

Are you certain, Brother?

I do hope you are saving some of that rice for yourself, just in case.

I can't, Oshitari Yuushi. Not until I am certain they are okay. My friends come before myself.

That is very lovely of you, Inui-kun, but you need to take care of yourself too, otherwise you won't be able to be there for your friends.

He has a point, Inui-kun. My mother is always telling her patients that. She uses an example that if you are on a plane with your kids and it starts to have problems you need to put on your oxygen mask first, before theirs, or you will pass out before you can help them and then they die with you. Don't pass out on your friends, Inui-kun. They need you.

[ooc: Shinji will show up as well to help. He's not sure what good he will do for Inui's electronic friends, but he's willing to send out some vibes to help anyone who is freaked out calm down. He even downed a large glass of wine first to help boost his powers.]

...did you try the door first? Just to see if it was unlocked? Because it could have been, you know.

It had a lock on it. So I did the logical thing.
