wings to make us fly

Niou Masaharu has posed quite a challenge to me and my creative process. Can I make a set of wings, such as Daedalus and Icarus used. I believe I have a 67% chance of rendering a human of Niou's size airborn. I will need materials. Not in wax and feathers but in metal and clockworks.

All science is about repeating the experiment. If I can indeed make a single working model, I would need to make more, just to know it wasn't a fluke.
